- It appears from the NT that it is not essential to know your gift in order to exercise it.
- As our gifts are manifestations of the Spirit (1 Cor 12:7), we should walk in submission to Him that we might be used in whatever way He chooses (Gal 5:16, Col 3:16, Rom 8:13, 2 Tim 2:20-22)
- We should look for areas of need in the lives of others and start to serve. We will likely gravitate toward particular ways of serving that may indicate our gifting, which may also be affirmed by others.
