Episode 45: How should Christians handle sarcasm? Where is the line when it becomes sinful?

Episode highlights:

  • Sarcasm may be used as a cowardly confrontation, dealing with an issue without engaging in a biblical, loving conversation. Eph 4:15
  • Sarcasm may not always be sinful.  It depends upon our intentions and how we are perceived.
  • If we recognize our hearts are in the wrong place, we should repent and stop doing it.
  • Breaking a sarcasm habit can be helped by filling our minds with Scriptures about godly/ungodly use of the tongue.  Eph 4:29; James 1:26, 3:6; Psa 141:3-4
